So many amazing 360 virtual travel views of Japan to choose from! I love them all! The Kawachi Wisteria Garden is a special one. Japan’s focus on natural beauty evokes peace and harmony. Loved the Himeji Castle view and it brings back great memories of our family visit there! The one on onsen…. don’t make me cry! How I miss onsen in Japan!!!!!  Mt. Fuji Sunrise was a close call, but my favorite has to be the view of Mt. Fuji from the Chureito Pagoda. I have not been there, but the 360 makes me feel as if I have and am! When Covid settles down again, I will be looking forward to my return trip to Japan to see it in person! During sakura too! My only critique is that on some photos a better job of blotting out faces would make it less distracting from the subject – Beautiful Japan! Arigato!!! ありがとうございました

Here I am at the remains of the original Kumano Hongu Taisha when I walked the Kumano Kodo last October.

Kumano Hongu Taisha and Oyunobara are Included in the sacred site a Kumano Sanzan. Hongu Taisha used to be located by the Kumano River at a place now known as however after damaged in the over flooding in 1889 the surviving buildings were relocated to the present site Oyunohara is known as a place where deities descended to earth in the form of three moons into the branches of an oak tree. There’s still a small stone shrine in the center of the sacred clearing.

Contest Guidelines

Along with a photograph of you as a tourist, preferably Japan, post on social media a review at least one of the 20 Japan VR destinations on JR Rail Pass’s link from its website, for example such as:

Kawachi Wisteria Garden. There are different places in Japan to see Wisteria in full bloom, though the Kawachi Wisteria Garden is by far the best. Located about 30 minutes by bus from Kokura city, it’s a popular spot to visitors who are looking for the best Instagram moments in Japan. Visit the Wisteria right here.

or

Visit the Adachi Museum of Art – the most beautiful zen garden in Japan. View the most picturesque Japanese garden in the Adachi Museum of Art here.

I reviewed several, and listed my favorite the View Fuji from the Chureito Pagoda. Located in the Arakurayama Sengen park, the Chureito Pagoda is the most quintessential view of Japan, period. Take a look here, and enjoy the majestic view of Fuji. Read Everything You Need To Know About Chureito Pagoda here.

Check the website for contest details and more information, such as you can enter just one review. Good luck and happy armchair travel through Japan!
