Bridge in Autumn, Nara, Japan 2016. Available as a fine art print and more at Estudio Sol on Society6.
Autumn is such an incredible time in Japan. I find it rivals sakura in the spring. The cherry blossoms remind us of how fleeting life is and they bloom for such a short time.
Autumn, on the other hand, marches us toward death and the winter solstice with the fall of leaves, yet its shocking array of colors seem to last forever, reminding us of nature’s promise of rebirth.
It’s of the great spiritual and collective activities for the Japanese and me that aligns us with the seasons and put oneself in accord with nature. The Japanese still eat seasonally too.
Here are a few photographs of Autumn in Japan of mine to enjoy and that are also available for purchase at Estudio Solis on Society6.
