Japan in Spain and The Sydney Dispatch Travel Blog on Medium

At the Roman Bridge in Salamanca, Spain giving a tour to my Japanese friend Haruna-san.

While visiting my daughter in Salamanca, Spain last year, I noticed Japanese influence everywhere. I’m back in Salamanca after five months in South America and three weeks in Ireland, and upon arrival had the good fortune to give Haruna Takagi from Osaka, Japan a tour of Salamanca. I know her father who performs Rakugo in English, and he connected us during her trip to Spain.

I have a new travel blog on Medium.com called The Sydney Dispatch. Do have a look at the blog post about Japan in Spain there, because my lo-tech brain can’t handle all the changes going on constantly at WordPress and I gave up and moved my travel blog over there!

The Sydney Dispatch – Japan in Spain. Be sure to follow and give a “clap.” Arigato!

Making my way back to Japan this spring!
